Default Frog was in LA inter d1 today

Although I only caught tail end of it he has given some insights

So far: He won't say anything about Sorrow's Funace, doesn't want to give out spoilers. He says the armor crafter he believes was slain, so that probably means we won't see new armor until the expansion.

The expansion is due the first half of January, but I believe that was already more or less known.

At some point there may be day/night implemented in PvE in some manner.

The devs would like to do some sort of PvE event, but need input.
The frog thought the idea about the Charr invasion on Tyria was interesting!

Traders will eventually be accessible in international districts.

There will eventually be more pets available.

15k necro armor will some day be updated. No given time frame for either

Togglecapes, again the Frog speaks of them. See the idea of being able to take them off is popular, in your face anyone who said no to the idea!

Soon as they can toggleable or can be removed I'll be joining a guild... can't wait.

Also a /favour command is badly needed, its annoying having to travel to the Temple of ages or the Tombs just to see who has the favour.

Thats not what it said, he said the armor crafter was slain. Now as we well know it's not unknown for slain beings in GW to give you rewards or even armor. So to me the jury is still out on that one.

As to whether it requires rubies or sapphires I have no idea. A lot of people seem to be buying them, but we've no idea as to the price cap on them or the frequency in which they may or may not drop. I've bought 3 or 4, but I would'nt stake my 'fortune' on them.

Yes, you are correct. Just a new explorable area and maybe missions. There is suggestions of new skills, weapons, items, but no armor that I have heard about.

I would LOVE to be able to change my character's appearance. When I created my E/Mo, for some reason I created him looking like an old mouse with a ponytail. As long as you can change the physical face, I'll be happy.

I dunno, everyone's going on about Furnace armour, but didn't people wonder a while ago if there was Underworld Armour? It would make sense and all...

I've heard people SWEAR that there is an Underworld Forger, but have not delivered any proof. I don't think there is. It would be cool in my opinion, and would give more reason to go to Underworld, not that there isn't enough already. And Sorrow's Furnace/Grenth's Footprint is for Ascended characters, if someone didn't already know. It will have new quests. It will have new weapons. Whether it has new armor, has yet to be seen, or heard. Yes he said the armorer was slain. But there have been a few surprises. The new expansion due in January will have new armor, and this will most definitely make people want to buy it that much more. I wouldn't be surprised if ANET left new armor out of the upcoming free expansion for this reason. But it's not hard to make some models/textures and script some new sets, so why not both expansions? I mean a whole set of armor is probably only 500k of data, so c'mon. And it surely wouldn't unbalance anything. Diversity is what makes an mmo so great, in my opinion. But my opinion doesn't control the ebb and flow of things with ANET .

I would like to see new armor, yes, but it would not increase diversity if they make it like FoW armor. Why you ask? Because, like FoW armor, you won't see a lot of it. Those people who say that the 1.5mil needed to get FoW armor is nothing, they can make it in a week, have a heck of a lot more free time than I do

So you would still see mostly the normal droks armor and 15k sets, and while rubies and saphires cost less than ectos and shards (last I knew) there is no guarantee that, should an armorer exist, he would need those.

If they want to increase diversity of appearence, they have to add more armors, at reasonable prices (read my first comment if you say something like "idiot n00b, FoW armor is easy to get")

The frog also said "The frog cannot predict the crafting of new armor, as he is just a simple frog, not an armorer".

Frog also said "The frog knows not of armor in Sorrows Furnace, he believes the crafter was slain, long ago".

Then goes on to say "The frog could be mistaken on that however".

Direct quotes from the screenies I took last night. So I wouldn't assume there isn't an armorer there.
